Meditation Reader, Paul is a deep thinker, but he tries to connect his thoughts very clearly for his readers—I’m grateful for that! Today he begins with Therefore, which connects us back to the last passage we copied. We are all citizens of God’s kingdom together. In verse one today, he reminds us of the blessings we share as brothers and sisters in Christ. Then Paul lays down a challenge: “Make my joy complete.” He doesn’t ask for money. Meditation Reader, We left Paul yesterday contemplating which was better: to die and be with Christ or to live and continue to do the work of the Lord here on earth. He is so ready to be with Jesus.
